Stampin' Up Fireworks Card For Bonfire Day/Night

Hello Everyone...
Since today is Guy Fawkes Day/Night, I thought I would do a Fireworks Card.
I have used the Joseph's Coat Technique.

It's much easier than it initially looks, but you do get messy fingers...or is that just me?!
I sponged  various colours onto Whisper White Cardstock...this is how I got the messy fingers.
I then stamped my images in VersaMark Ink and Embossed using Clear Embossing Powder.
I then rolled Night of Navy Ink using the Sponge Brayer over the top part of the image and the magic started to happen.

Basically the various colours get trapped under the heated Embossing powder, so even though I went over the image with a dark colour, the colours under the Embossing don't get effected.
I love this technique, it's so cool.
I then stamped the Image from Night in Bethlehem in Momento Tukedo Black...we don't really see many Palm Trees here in Scotland, but I think it's a beautiful Image and it works well with the Card.

I stamped my Sentiment from Bunch of Blossoms in VersaMark Ink and Embossed it with Copper Embossing Powder.

I love it...I am really please with how it turned out.
Did you know......

"Guy Fawkes Night, also known as Guy Fawkes DayBonfire Night and Firework Night, is an annual commemoration observed on 5 November, primarily in Great Britain.
Its history begins with the events of 5 November 1605, when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was arrested while guarding explosives the plotters had placed beneath the House of Lords.
Celebrating the fact that King James I had survived the attempt on his life, people lit bonfires around London, and months later the introduction of the Observance of 5th November Act enforced an annual public day of thanksgiving for the plot’s failure.
The present-day Guy Fawkes Night is usually celebrated at large organised events, centred on a bonfire and extravagant firework displays."
