Crafty Cupcakes Design Team - September - Daisy Delight - Week 4

It has been a pleasure taking part in the Crafty Cupcakes Design Team for the month of September along with Jenny Dowding of Stampin' Jenny, you can visit Jenny's Blog HERE

This week is my last week as we have a new team of very talented crafters taking part for the month of October.

We had been given the Daisy Delight Stamp Set (page 127 A/C) to work with.
It also comes with the Daisy Punch and you can save 10% if you buy both in a Bundle.

So for Week 4 I have a Kids Game....can you remember playing Pairs...or the Memory Game?
I use to love playing it...so I thought I would make the Game using the Daisy for my niece.

Super cute...isn't it?

Recipe:

  • Daisy Delight Stamp Set
  • Daisy Punch
  • Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (DSP)
  • Whisper White Cardstock
  • Brights Collection Inks
  • Crumb Cake Ink
  • Blender Pen
  • Sponge Brayer
  • Simply Scored Scoring Tool
  • Envelope Punch Board

I have lots of pictures for you...so here we go....

Stamped 2 Daisies in each of the Brighs Inks

I Punched out a Mask from a Post-it note

Covered each stamped Daisy and stamped on top of it with the small stamp in the set in Daffodil Delight Ink

With the Mask still in place I Brayered over it with Crumb Cake Ink

And here was the result when I removed the Mask

I then coloured in each flower using the corresponding Ink with the Blender Pen

Did this for each Pair

I then attached the DSP to the back of each one and rounded the corners using the Envelope Punch Board

I then made a box for the Game
I stamped and used the Brayer in the same way I did on the stamped Daisies and I then attached the DSP

I then stamped  2 Daisies and punched them out with the Daisy Punch and put them together

Here are the stamps I used in this project

I am really pleased with how it turned out...and my niece....Loved it :-)
