My  name is Michelle Zanotti and I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator based in Bonnie Scotland in the UK, and you will be visiting lots of different places in your Hop today.

There is a List at the end of the page which will help you to move along from Blog to Blog so that you see 28 Amazing Projects.

Since we are Hopping round the World today...I thought I would do something Scottish to represent my country.
So my card today has a Kilt on it.

It's so cute...don't you think?

My base card is 5" 1/2 x 5" 1/2 in Basic Black cardstock.
My next layer is 5" x 5" using This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper.
The third layer is 4" 1/2 x 4" 1/2  using Basic Gray cardstock and stamped in Basic Gray Ink using the Playful Backgrounds Stamp SetFor my Kilt I used to pieces cut at 4" 1/2 x 3" of the "Tartan" from the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper,,,,I scored both every 1/4" up to 2" and folded the score lines in a concertina.
I overlapped the 2 pieces to make the main part of the Kilt and the Concertina on either side made the Pleats of the Kilt,
I used Basic Black cardstock for the Belt and to punch 2 circles (1 I cut in half) with the 1" punch to make the Sporran to which I attached a Mini Tassel.
I hung the Sporran from the Belt using small strips of Silver Glimmer Paper.

I love it...I hope you do too.

Thanks for visiting my Blog today. there are so many ideas and inspirations you don't want to miss.

  12. I was looking for something different for a St. Patrick's Day card and seen this browsing Pinterest and it is just perfect. I never would have thought about doing something like this myself. Thank you so much for sharing it is a really cute card.
