You're in My Thoughts Dad...Happy Father's Day

http://www.craftatherapy.co.uk/2016/06/youre-in-my-thoughts-dadhappy-fathers.html

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to All the Great Dads out there :-)

Hope you are all having a Great day with your Dads and spoiling them :-)

But unfortunately not all of us have our  Dad still with us.

I don't

...and although he comes into my mind most days...today he is definitely in my thoughts.

So for today's Father's Day Card I thought I would use the Kinda Eclectic stamp Set again.

I am really pleased with it...
It very much shows how I feel today...

Don't you just love it??

I am really love my card today...I know it might look a bit difficult...but it really isn't...it is basically just a bit of sponging.

Base card in Crumb Cake Cardstock.
The stamped layer is in Whisper White Cardstock and a small piece of Dapper Denim Cardstock for the "Happy Father's Day" sentiment...which is from the Crazy about You Stamp Set,
I punched out a circle with the 2" Circle Punch...and stuck it onto the White layer with some low-tack tape.
I then sponged round the circle and slowly covered the whole White layer with...Pool Party...Dapper Denim...So Saffron and Crumb Cake Ink.
I then removed the punched circle and did the rest of the stamping.
I used the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set.
I stamped everything in Dapper Denim Ink...apart from the Sunburst which I stamped in Black Ink.
The sentiment "You're in my Thoughts" comes from the Stamp Set which comes in the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit...and again I used Black Ink.

I hope you like how this card has turned out...obviously you don't need to add the "You're in my Thoughts" sentiment and just have it as a regular Father's Day card.

You could also take the Father's Day sentiment away and use it as a Sympathy Card.

If you haven't taken a look at the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit yet...you really should...it is Fab.
