Let's use the Leftovers - Card #13 - Retiring 2014-2016 In-Colours

http://www.craftatherapy.co.uk/2016/04/lets-use-leftovers-card-13-retiring.html

Card #13  in my Series "Let's use the Leftovers".

Super Cute Pinwheels...don't you just love them?....

A few years ago Stampin' Up had a die that cut out Pinwheels.
It is now retired and unfortunately I don't have it :-(

Oh well...never mind...I made up my own template...

The Base card is 4" x 4" in Crumb Cake Cardstock.

I cut 1/2" strips of Cardstock  in each of the 5  2014-2016 In-colours (4 strips of each colour).
I adhered them to the Base card one on each of the 4 sides of the card (1/2" away from each side).

I also punched out of Cardstocks a small circle in each of the 5 colours...using the Owl Punch (will be placed in the centre of the DSP square)

I used a square measuring 1"3/4 x 1"3/4 of each colour of the 2014-2016 Designer Series Paper (DSP)

It is a little fiddly because the squares are so small...so practice first with some copy paper until you get the hang of it...but once you do...they are actually really easy to put together.

Below you will find a step by step picture.

Once I had all 4 corners in the centre I placed a Brad through the holes and secured it at the back.

The Sentiment is from the Happy Happenings Stamp Set which I stamped in each of the 5 matching coloured Inks.
